A former occupational health and safety centre with many small offices and partitions has recently been transformed into a dental practice with a warm and contemporary feel.

In embarking on the extensive renovation project, the client wanted to create a good, spacious and open layout for his growing practice. After 20 years of working from home, it was time for change.

The architectural and interior design firm BuroKoek started by conducting an analysis, in which all the various possibilities were explored on the basis of the specific requirements. A new entrance was established, so that employees and patients were separated when moving around the building.

All the pieces finally fell into place, and a spacious and open layout was created with lots of daylight, low-maintenance materials and pleasant acoustics.
